Mark created The Modern Dentist out of a passion for doing dentistry differently.
He has exclusively practised non-invasive, or "biomimetic", restorative techniques for many years, with a particular interest in harnessing technology and dental material advances to create stunningly beautiful teeth in aesthetic and functional dentistry. He avoids what he sees as outdated techniques that involve excessive harming of healthy tooth structure.
His ultimate aim with every smile and every tooth he treats is to create an appearance that would fool even a dentist.
Through a process of meticulous design and attention to detail during treatment, he sees aesthetic dentistry as the perfect marriage of science and art.
Having grown up and studied in Ireland, he made London his home in 2004 and has worked in private practice for many years.

Mark is a qualified yoga teacher, a calisthenics enthusiast, a keen pianist, and loves theatre and opera. He lives a life of devoted servitude to his Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Bród.
