Rory brings a personal touch to dentistry. He believes in looking after people as well as their teeth.
His approach combines a meticulous attention to detail with a light-hearted, warm personality. He listens to his patients and enjoys answering their questions, believing that the best dentistry is possible when patients are engaged in and understand their oral health. He has fully embraced modern techniques to deliver longer-lasting, better-looking dental work and continues to invest in extensive post-graduate training, always seeking to learn more.
Rory has worked in private practice since 2016. Alongside this, he has been involved with undergraduate teaching in the Dublin Dental University Hospital, where he originally trained. He has a keen interest in education and lectures on topics related to oral health psychology, highlighting the importance of patient-centred care, patient relationships, and clinician wellbeing. Recently, he also contributed a chapter to an academic text on emotional intelligence in dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Rory is a sports fanatic. He spent several years competing for Ireland in whitewater kayaking and is an avid climber and snowboarder. He enjoys playing music, with fond memories as a student busking in iconic Dublin locations.
